How can I help?

I have predominantly worked with people transitioning through big changes in their lives and in their work contexts. Change can be overwhelming and uncomfortable. We often fear it and struggle to take those first steps because it requires a lot of our commitment. Sometimes it can be paralysing anxiety and panic attacks that hold us back or it is because we are struggling with our purpose and intent and feel lost and hopeless at where to begin. Discovering your purpose and setting yourself up for success can be empowering. We often just need the right kind of guidance and courage to begin the journey.

Approaches and methods I work with:
Gestalt therapy

I apply an integrated therapeutic approach in my sessions to suit your needs. I believe that living your truth is where you begin making the change. Therapy offers a safe space to talk honestly and openly about your challenges and feelings, however brutal it may seem to say out loud. I provide a non-judgmental space for you to share what's on your mind.

Everyone wants to be heard, feel understood and not feel judged. I find that building a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients is central to my overall approach. For many, it may be your first time and possibly the first good relationship where you feel safe and open to sharing your story.

Questions and answers

Don't know how to choose a psychologist? 🕵️‍♀️

The following points may help: - Photo and video introduction. They help you get a first impression. - Issues the psychologist works with/does not work with, and their education. This helps you understand in advance if they have experience with your specific topics.
- Work format. Online or offline, city, district, calendar – all for your convenience.
- Cost. Will you feel financially comfortable?
- Feelings. Pay attention to your internal reaction to the profile: sympathy, trust, curiosity, your intuition – this is also an important criterion.
All psychologists and psychotherapists on terappio.com are verified and have the appropriate education. These are professionals you can trust.

How and when is the payment made?

You pay for sessions directly to the psychologist, without our mediation, additional payments, or commissions. We advise psychologists to take a 50% prepayment for in-person meetings and a 100% prepayment for online sessions. This is necessary to guarantee payment from the client. However, some psychologists may accept payment after the session. Payment can be made in any way that is convenient for both of you. You will be able to discuss this and other questions directly in the chat.

Can I get a refund?

We recommend discussing this matter with your psychologist. Psychologists have their own policies regarding session cancellations or rescheduling. The most common option is the possibility of receiving a refund or rescheduling the session at no extra cost if you notify about changes at least 24 hours before the session. If the session has already taken place or you notify of a cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, funds are usually not refunded. This is standard practice in the industry, giving the psychologist enough time to adjust their schedule and possibly offer that time to another client who needs it.

I have submitted an application. When will they contact me?

If you submitted your request between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, one of our managers will create a group chat for you with a psychologist in your preferred messenger within 5 minutes. If you submitted your request after 9:00 PM, the chat will be created the next morning. We advise psychologists to contact you within 2 hours, but sometimes there may be delays on their end (their work schedule can be quite busy!).

Is it possible to cancel or reschedule the session?

Yes, in most cases, you can cancel or reschedule a session. Each psychologist has their own policy regarding session cancellations or rescheduling. We recommend discussing this personally.
