I’m a mental health professional who has 3 years of experience working with people of all ages with non-clinical problems to a variety of severe mental illnesses.

Currently I’m working as an ABA paraprofessional in the Groton-Dunstable middle school with children from ages 10 and up who are diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. I assist the special education teacher and Board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) providing students with teaching and instructions dedicated to increase their social, academic, self-regulatory skills and overall promoting their independence. I have had success in decreasing maladaptive behavior and increasing socially appropriate behaviors. I consider I have great communication and interpersonal skills, which have helped me gain the trust and confidence of my students, leading me to build good rapport and relationships in my workplace.

Above all, my mental health experience has helped me learn to use many functional strategies with individuals and groups, and I have been able to contribute to the well-being and support of children and adolescents through teaching, psychological evaluation and therapy.
